Description: Learn the basics of double faced tablet weaving which allows you complete freedom to weave letters or icons on your handwoven bands for leashes, bag handles, book marks, luggage tags, etc. In this course you will learn:

(1) how to make a circular warp with your tablets to get you started weaving super fast

(2) how to manipulate tablets to make your designs, and

(3) how to create your own designs on paper or using tablet weaving computer software.

Prerequisite: None

Students should bring: Inkle loom, if you have one (provided if you do not)

-minimum of 26 tablets unless purchasing from instructor; (if bringing your own tablets, preferably colour code outer borders in at least two colours or multiple colours in sets of 4 tablets)

–  pen or pencil.

Materials Fee: $25 (+$10 if purchasing a set of 26 colour coded tablets)

NOTE: This workshop was set up “By Request”.  The group welcomes new friends who would like to join in, however, please do not use a “RESERVED” Ticket unless you are a member of the original group.  Once the group is finished registering, one unreserved ticket will be released.  Anyone using a RESERVED who is not a member of the By Request Group will have their registration immediately cancelled and will be refunded less the 5% cancellation fee.
