I started to weave in 1984 and I weave on a computerized loom. In my work I use natural materials such as silk and cotton, dyeing most of them. The last few years I have specialized in weaving scarves, and making small bags and greeting cards from my left-over hand woven and hand dyed fabrics. Sometimes, I find inspiration for my work in nature but most often I find inspiration from working with many different colours and combining them with complex weave structures.
