Description: Create a warp for two unique wool scarves by learning the techniques of warp painting with acid dyes. Special techniques for winding the warps will be part of the class. Processing of warp, i.e. steaming, will be done at home. If this is not possible then the instructor can process the yarn for the student.
Prerequisite: Must have wound at least one warp. All warping will be done in class
Students should bring: Old clothes; paper towels; cotton rags; plastic dish pan; 5 small recycled plastic containers or jam jars with lids; apron, smock or lab coat (Value Village); rubber gloves.
Materials fee: $40 includes all materials required for the workshop
