The Guild Newsletter, Penelope’s News, is published nine times a year prior to a Guild meeting. It contains information on upcoming meetings, events, programs and workshops, announcements, items for sale and rent, minutes of the meetings and other information of interest to Guild members.

We encourage all members to contribute to the newsletter in the form of workshop/study group reviews, announcements, events, pictures, anything with a fibre interest. Remember, this is your newsletter. Please contribute to make it great. The deadline for newsletter submissions is two weeks before the end of every month. Members have the choice of receiving newsletters by regular mail or online by email notification.
If you have opted for email notification of newsletters, you will be sent a link to the current newsletter every month. In order to read it, you will need to have Adobe Reader installed on your computer.
If you have not received your newsletter in the mail or your email, please check that the membership convenor has your correct address. When notifying the membership convenor of changes in email or address etc., please provide your surname as well as your first name in order to facilitate locating you on the electronic listings of emails and addresses.
The Marketplace portion of the OVWSG Newsletter is used to promote and assist its members. Current members of the OVWSG can advertise at no charge. Some restrictions may apply as to space availability and file restrictions. For Non Members: $15.00 for the first 25 letters. $0.28 for each additional word. $2.00 per image.
